TV talk of the town - how to enthrall and persuade at the same time

Shonda Rhimes: My year of saying yes to everything

Listen to this talk.  She is so enthralling.  Look at the words the way she uses them.  Her talk itself is like her TV shows - she first creates persona and then reiterates every character, every feeling, over and over again.  The same words, the same sequence and the same feeling. And then the twist, just like in her TV shows.  And tells her story of life, ever so eloquently and with so much of vigor.  She is a better actor than all her TV show actors - perfect timing, not a single blemish or searching for words.  The Focus - the hum.

These type of words are what makes a TV show successful (and in life too) - persuasive, powerful, full of character, strong and courageous, and delivered with confidence.  It drives home the point - very clearly and succinctly.
